About Bike 43
Bike 43 aren’t just dedicated to designing a low-maintenance quality bike that can survive very intensive usage, they also care about the environment and creating a workplace for those with disabilities.
Local production is aimed at limiting the impact on mother earth and their Brussels factory is an ‘adapted work environment’ that allows those with minor handicaps, to work in a skilled trade. The founder of Bike 43, Etienne Richelle, has spent over five years training this team to become brilliant mechanics.
Accessories
The bike is ultra-customizable with more than 20 accessories.
You can turn it into a ‘family van’ with three kids at the back and one baby at the front or turn it into a cargo transportation facility for groceries or tools.
Other accessories include a rain cover, bags, an animal basket, a MaxiCosy adaptor, and more.
Hand-built for quality
Designed in Belgium, the frames are hand-built by specialised and experienced craftsmen, and made of Chromoly steel, which is twice as strong as regular steel and half the weight.
